At Café 6

Set in Taiwan in the 1990s ang At Café 6. Kwento ito ng kabataan at pagpursue ng first love. Sa isang interview sinabi ni Dong Zijian, leading actor ng film, na he believes that At Cafe 6 offers something different from the previous films in the same genre.

"'At Cafe 6' looks deeper at life. After you watch it, it's not like 'oh why didn't I pursue that girl?' But rather like, 'how do I go forward from here? How did I survive the path before me?　How should we live our lives?' I think it brings up more questions along those lines. So it will allow you to explore something deeper within."

Si Dong Zijian ay lumabas na sa mga sumusunod na movies - Mountains May Depart (2015), Shaonian Babilun (2015) and Qing Chun Pai (2013).

May mga comments na para itong You're the Apple of my Eye dahil pareho ang tema at pareho din ang takbo ng story. Ang cast ng movie ay kinabibilangan nina Dong Zijian as we said earlier, kasami sinia Cherry Ngan, Ouyang Nini, Austin Lin, Frankie Huang, McFly, Fandy Fan, Arnold Kwok and Ruomei Dai.

Bagamat first-time director ang novelist na si Neal Wu, hindi daw siya bothered sa kanyang coming-of-age movie na At Cafe 6. Hindi raw ito another youth romance flick. Kung ihahambing sa predecessors na Our Times (2015) and You're The Apple Of My Eye (2011), naniniwala si Neal Wu na ang movie, na based sa kanyang Web novel, ay makapagbibigay ng food for thought tungkol sa growing pains.

Dagdag ng 39-year-old writer : "At Cafe 6 may look like a youth movie on the surface, but audiences will realise that it's more than that after watching it. It explores the topic of life decisions and how people may end up in different places because they mature at a different pace and move to a different environment."

Kalmado lang si Neal Wu ang he takes a zen approach to how the movie might be received. "I wrote the novel a decade ago, the movie took another three years. Of course, I hope that audiences will like the movie. But I believe that every movie has its destiny. I'll leave it in fate's hand,"
